The release of Warralily’s first park and creek frontage home sites has led to buyers camping out on site to ensure they get first pick when land is released on Saturday 14th August 2010 at 9.00am.
Stage 2A, consisting of 27 exclusive home sites including allotments fronting Warralily’s conservation reserve and Armstrong Creek parklands, will be sold on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis.
Warralily Sales and Marketing Manager Crystall Mousios said this strong buyer response was also seen in Stage 1 when home sites sold out on the first day of release.
“The team had to act quickly to accommodate the needs of those wishing to camp out. We have set up a marquee, heaters, barbeque facilities, toilets and provided security guards to make the experience more comfortable.”
“Buyers are keen to secure home sites in this release, some of which will provide buyers with a fantastic outlook over the conservation reserve and Armstrong Creek park land, all will be only a short walk to Warralily’s extensive walking path network that will connect residents to nearby schools, cafes and shops.” said Ms Mousios.
Ken Oliver, Geelong father of four and Warralily Stage 2A number one ticket holder, said he was happy to camp out to make sure his family didn’t miss out on the home site they wanted.
“We have been looking around for a while and when we saw Warralily we decided that this was the place for us. We like the location near the beach, the community infrastructure and the fact that open spaces and trees will be maintained throughout the development.”
“Our future home will be near the creek, parks and conservation reserve, providing plenty of space for our kids to run around.” said Mr Oliver.
This newest Warralily release will provide residents with easy access to the walking tracks and green open spaces that will form a critical part of the development. In fact, with one third of the new community designated for open space, the majority of homes in Warralily will be within just 400 metres of a local park, playground or sporting reserve.
Warralily at Armstrong Creek, Geelong’s first master planned community, is nestled between Victoria’s famous surf coast and the city of Geelong.
