The launch of Warralily Coast will inject a much needed 1,200 new home sites to the local market helping to ease pressure for land in the area which continues to experience the fastest growth in the region.
The Coast’s newest neighbour, Warralily Coast at Armstrong Creek, officially welcomed its first future residents on Saturday following the highly anticipated first stage release.
The home sites, ranging in size from 370 – 568 square metres and priced from $170,000, were sold by appointment only on a first in best dressed basis to buyers keen to secure affordable living close to the coast.
Purchasers were both excited and nervous as they waited for their appointment time and hoped that the block of their choice would still be available.
Joe and Diana Caruana from Melton said it’s a dream come true to live near the coast.
“Torquay holds a lot of happy memories for us, we visited here when we were younger and knew then that it’s a place to live not just visit.” said Diana.
“We moved from St Albans to Melton and now finally we will have our home by the coast.”
The sentiment was repeated by Jenny and John Furleo of Highten who too were excited to be building their dream home near Torquay.
“We have lived in Geelong all our lives and know that this is the location for us, we will build a bigger home for our family and enjoy a fresh, new start.” said Jenny.
“It’s our 6 year wedding anniversary today too, so a day for celebration.”
Warralily Sales Director Luke Kelly said it’s great to have Warralily Coast on the market and see sales commence strongly, we have already sold about 50%.
“This result, combined with the impressive sales at the new Warralily Promenade precinct leading up to the Coast launch, makes the latest quarter the peak selling period for Warralily since going on the market in June last year.” said Mr Kelly.
“With land now available on two fronts across the estate we know that many buyers are still familiarising themselves with the new precincts before coming to a final decision on what home site they will purchase. We anticipate a busy few months ahead!”
The launch of Warralily Coast will inject a much needed 1,200 new home sites to the local market helping to ease pressure for land in the area which continues to experience the fastest growth in the region.
Located on the Surf Coast Highway between Torquay and Geelong, Warralily Coast will feature elevated land, the provision of community facilities such as shops, sporting facilities and schools in walking distance from homes and access to public transport infrastructure and the Ring Road to Melbourne.
Future Warralily Coast residents will also enjoy the trademark features of the Warralily development including over 80 hectares of beautiful park lands and waterways and 30 kilometres of walking trails and cycling paths.
“The Warralily estate will be Geelong’s first master planned community and future residents value this because they can be confident in the community infrastructure that will be provided here,” Mr Kelly said.
“This community focus, combined with location, lifestyle and affordability make Warralily a highly appealing choice for buyers.”
The consistently high demand for Warralily is testament to what the estate & the broader Geelong region has to offer.
