The wait is almost over for buyers keen to soak up an iconic coastal lifestyle. Warralily Coast management have confirmed that land will be released within the month, with registered buyers receiving the first opportunity to make sales appointments.
Since opening its doors on January 3rd this year, Warralily Coast has received nearly 500 registrations of interest from buyers living within & outside the region.
Warralily General Manager Mark Whinfield said the strong buyer interest is pleasing but not surprising.
Demand to live close to the coast is stronger than ever as seen in recently released ABS figures confirming that the Surf Coast continues to experience the fastest growth in the region.
Located on the highway to the coast just 10 minutes from Torquay, the Warralily Coast precinct will add a much needed 1,236 new home blocks to the limited availability of land in the area.
Nearby Torquay has diminishing land supply with existing land releases reaching the end of their allotment. In addition Torquay prices are at a premium, increasingly putting the suburb out of reach for first home buyers and young families.
Warralily Coast offers buyers location, affordability and importantly a self sufficient community.
Mr Whinfield said the new precinct will appeal to people who are looking for that relaxed, coastal lifestyle but still want the convenience of close proximity to local shops, schools and childcare with easy access to Geelong and the Ring Road to Melbourne.
Homes in the precinct will also be close to the adjacent Armstrong Creek major shopping centre precinct, making access to shops and services both quick and convenient.
At the same time, Warralily Coast will still have all the trademark features of the Warralily development with over 80 hectares of beautiful park lands and waterways and 30 kilometres of walking trails and cycling paths. This provision of community facilities in walking distance from homes and access to public transport infrastructure will reduce dependence on cars, creating a safe and connected environment.
Sales of the first release will be by appointment only on a first in best served basis. Registered buyers will receive notification of the opportunity to make appointments & details on the Warralily Coast first release in the very near future.
There are many people who have been waiting for this release and have registered their interest with us but there still may be others who have not taken that next step. We urge people to register quickly to ensure they have an equal chance of securing a sales appointment and the home block of their choice said Mr Whinfield.
