Warralily Hits the Mark

Warralily Projects 16/07/2010

Warralily at Armstrong Creek continues to establish itself as the location of choice for buyers with sales at Geelong’s newest community off to a flying start.

Following the success of the first land release in June that saw all home sites sold out in just one day, the second stage was recently brought forward due to high buyer demand and is now on the verge of selling out too.

Warralily Sales and Marketing Manager Crystall Mousios said the strong sales results were indicative of the interest in the development.

“People are genuinely excited about the opportunity of being a part of a master planned community that will incorporate walking and cycling trails, parks, green open spaces, shops and community facilities.”

“The location is also attractive to buyers who are seeking the much sought after coastal lifestyle with all the benefits of being close to Geelong’s evolving CBD and waterfront, as well as the new Ring Road to Melbourne.”

Ms Mousios said that Warralily will cater to the needs of all life stages with the range of residential lot sizes and housing options, from detached family homes to medium density housing close to community hubs.

“We’ve had a real mix of young families, retirees and couples buying land but there is a skew towards buyers in the 25-40 (the skew is 25-35) year old age bracket,” Ms Mousios said.

“Most of our buyers are also second or subsequent home buyers who have identified Warralily as being a community that will provide them with everything they need from location to lifestyle.”

The new Warralily community will soon begin to take shape with civil construction expected to begin in August. A display village comprising of 55 home designs from 23 local and metropolitan builders will also be completed by mid next year.

Armstrong Creek has been in the making for a number of years as a planned response to Victoria’s population growth. Located between Geelong and Torquay, Armstrong Creek is a designated key urban extension to Greater Geelong and will be home to up to 54,000 people at its completion.

The master planned community will set new benchmarks in urban development with an emphasis on environment sustainability, water sensitive urban design, community and social infrastructure and provision of a range of residential densities and styles.
